Pop Keys - “I have trouble with Pop Keys INIT with MultiFinder. Do you know anything about it? When both are running I crash just after the screen the desktop appears on startup” Robert Greenberg [72657,1475] After an earlier version of this list appeared Robert Greenburg had good news to report: Gary, Thanks to you and Stephen Flemming I got the solution to my problem. Stephen posted a msg with a possible fix but Carlos Weber then responded with the proper solution. I’ve have included it here. It may be of some help to others. “The real problem with Pop-Keys under MultiFinder is not quite as you described. It has to do with the presence of any un-named FKEYS in the active System (or in any suitcase files if you are using Suitcase II). If you use FKey Manager to give names to all your FKEYs, especially including 3 and 4, which come unnamed with fresh Apple-issue Systems, then Pop-Keys will work fine with MultiFinder. This is my problem, by the way, and now that I am moved into a new house and have unpacked my computer again, a new version of Pop-Keys may see the light.” The documentation for FKey Manager lists the following as not running with Pop-Keys: Dark Castle, MacLightning 2.0, and LaunchKey.
